As a coach with over 10 years of active work as indoor cycling instructor I can honestly say that this kind of workout is very beneficial. Commonly called spinning, it is a form of group exercise on a stationary bike with a weighted flywheel, which simulates real bicycle riding. There are a lot of advantages of indoor cycling, the main one is that you do not have to be dependent on the weather and the other one is that it is very safe and injury free. The rides should follow the rhythm of the music which is the main point of the classes. It is also a perfect activity to cyclists, triathletes and other professional athletes who wants to add additional stimulus to theirs workout routines.
